The Registrars of Russia information database is a new module of PARTAD unified information field. Peculiarities of the professional participants licensed by the FSMC of Russia to keep registers were taken into consideration in database development. Links to RETAN and Depositories of Russia databases are created when entering issuer, transfer agent or nominee holder details. The Registrars of Russia database Application Form was approved by the Committee of Registrars and reviewed by the PARTAD Board of Directors. Application Form data can be used to develop registrar ratings in addition to updating organization details.
In connection with effectiveness of the "Regulations for accounts to be submitted by professional securities market participants" approved by FSMC Order no. 33 and Order no. 109N by the Ministry of Finance of Russia dated 11.12.2001 (below jointly named the "Order"), the database Application Form was brought into conformity with accounts, which made more complete information about registrars' professional operations available and prevented organizations from using various formats in submitting accounts to PARTAD.
The Registrars of Russia database member organization card contains the following information: contact details (name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone numbers and fax numbers); license details (number, date of issue); financial position; affiliate details; technology used; list of issuers whose registers are kept by the registrar or its affiliates; list of transfer agents that concluded contracts with the registrar; list of organizations registered as nominee shareholders in the register of shareholders.
We draw your attention to the possibility of placing information about organizations registered as nominee holders in the register that have detailed information presented about them in the Depositories of Russia database.
The Registrars of Russia database is built up using information provided to the PARTAD in the quarterly accounts stipulated by the Order in accordance with the Application Form. Changes can be made on registrar's initiative within an appropriate period.
